The QuaranTEENS

An exercise in daily journaling with the Terminale 2 S class

Me and containment, week 1.

Hello everybody.
I hope you are all fine.
The first week of confinement has already passed, during this week I had several feelings. In truth, the first day when I knew that we will be entrusted to our home, I was happy but following the days this feeling really disappeared. In order not to get bored very strongly, I finally finished the book I wanted to read for a long time, his name is “Black Dragon” by Frederick Rapilly, if you like thrillers you will love this book.

 The book cover from Fnac.fr

Also, I cooked, I made chocolate cake🍫, with citrus🍋🍊, pancake for my mom and sister. And without forgetting homework, I have completed my revision sheets for BAC👩‍🏫.
AND I FINALLY GOT NETFLIX, MY BABY NETFLIX ❤❤❤. I don’t know how I lived without NETFLIX.

As well,1 day ago, a friend of my mom who works at the hospital contacted us to ask how we are. She talked for a long time with my mom, she told the situation that is happening in the hospital, it’s horrible. On TV you don’t really see the situation in hospitals, sometimes doctors 👩‍⚕‍👨‍⚕‍🏥 don’t even have time to sleep, go home or just take a shower. There are many families who have lost contact with his relatives and they never saw them again, it is really very sad😔. It made me understand how lucky we are to still be with our family. I noticed that I started to talk more with my friends👫, my relatives, I worry about my family👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 because we almost all have diseases that can worsen. It makes me sad to see people going out without any need. Really stay at home, take care of yourself, your families but also your loved ones, the neighbours. Maybe I will finally be at peace with my neighbours from below😂😂😂.

True!! Confinement means putting up with noisy neighbors. Still can’t figure out what the upstairs neighbor’s schedule is…
