The QuaranTEENS

An exercise in daily journaling with the Terminale 2 S class

Me and the containment: Changes and difficulties .

It has been long-time that I have not post on The QuaranTeens , there are a lot of things that have happened in my life suddenly . To start, there are some health problems in my family so I had to leave for Ukraine in an emergency because it could be the last time, I see my granny (she is better now). I knew that to leave it will be necessary to conquer several problems because of Coronavirus but I did not think it would be that difficult. So, the first thing I needed was to have permission to leave and permission to go to Ukrainian territory, thanks to the Ukrainian ambassador who put my file in priority, and I received my authorization the next day. The second part was plane tickets, I took a plane in an emergency, I paid € 850 for 2 hours of flight (to the Minsk airport) and 44 hours of waiting at the airport then another 2 hours of flight. I could not take the car because of the long queue at border control posts (which can lead to 72 hours of waiting).

In addition, I passed three times the corona test: once at the airport in France then in Minsk and the last on arrival in Ukraine (each cost me around 54 euros). Hopefully, they were all negative.

The Covid-19 really puts in trouble everybody, even those in difficult circumstances. Without all these difficulties, I could arrive in Ukraine in 4 hours.

All I can tell you to conclude is that take good care of yourself and your loved ones.
