EIGHTH WEEK

This week ended with good news : the end of quarentine. We won’t be able to have the same life as before but we can slowly regain our freedom in hopes to achieve a new normal. Starting with, no more travel certificates.

If people respect the barrier gestures, we should be able to reopen restaurants within a month. It would be a step in fixing the country’s economy. In the meantime I enjoy making various different salads which I find enjoyable.

I made masks with my father’s partner for my family.  Now I know how to use the sewing machine.

Monday, I went to see my best friend who was coming back from the countryside.  It did me a lot of good to see her again while respecting the distances.

Finally my boyfriend came home and we ordered sushi it was great.  I missed him a lot !

🙂

SEVENTH WEEK

This week I started to research Luxury for next year.  Since I have more time than usual I read magazines, small books and documentaries.  I like it because I remember a lot from my readings.

Friday was May 1, I used to buy thrush, but this year I didn’t go 🙁

My habits have really changed before I couldn’t stay at home that long.  Now I try to do a lot of things, clean up, cook a lot, read, which I haven’t been able to do in so long, play card with my brother. I think it feels good but I hope to find a  normal life.

This week I worked on sciences : Physics-chemistry, math and the sciences and life of the Earth. It was quite complicated but I ended up understanding with time.

I have been listening to foreign languages. I now, only listen to shows in English or Spanish. I like it because it teaches me new words and teaches me how to pronounce words better.

SIXTH WEEK

Once confinement is complete, life will change completely.  Our relationships will be different because we will have to respect a distancing.  It’s not going to be easy at first but we’ll get used to it. Human interaction will therefore have a great impact.  We can no longer take hands, cuddle, kiss.  I think a lot of people will be anxious about getting the virus and therefore there will be distrust.

I hope that researchers, doctors … will find a vaccine against the virus as soon as possible.  It would be a relief for the whole world.  We could then find our habits and our hobbies.

I watch a lot of series when I’m not working and it helps me pass the time.  I listen to music all the time, and especially when I go running.

Finally, my little brother is a source of daily happiness.

🙂

See you

Confinement and Memories

FIFTH WEEK

Since Monday, every afternoon, I workout for about an hour. My goal is to build muscle for the summer.

I try new recipes everyday. Last Sunday, I made great banana donuts. That was delicious!

🙂

Back to school was complicated because of my malfunctioning internet. The problem was finally resolved this weekend.

To keep myself busy when I had free time, I tried to organize my summer vacation. I had to go abroad but I can’t. So I’m going to stay in France, go to my house on the French Riviera with my family and friends. It’s going to be great, if possible.

Miss it
Boat day

What I miss the most is to go boat rides with my grandpa. When we go boating it takes us a long time to go out on the sailboat as he lost his sight and can no longer be on his own.

Friends from the South

Finally, I hope to finish my final year at school to see my fellow students and my teachers.

Have a good day 🙂

Good news

FOURTH WEEK

Hello, I am starting this day off very well because I have very good news.  I have been admitted to Sup de Luxe. During this week, I have written two tests in English, in general cultures and two interviews one in French one in English. It was very stressful but it was a good experience.

I have never played as much with my little brother. He is growing so quickly it’s impressive. He ate his first baby food cup this week.

Augustin

To celebrate Easter I made a lemon meringue pie to eat with chocolates 🙂

I miss my friends a lot. We talk on social media. The application I use the most is HouseParty because we can talk while seeing each other. I even watched a series through this application with a friend. It was fun.

See you

New way of life

THIRD WEEK

I’m slowly getting used to the confinement. I cook very often, I clean everything at home.  The apartment has never been so clean and tidy. We try to spend time as a family and our ties are growing stronger.

Saturday was my brother’s birthday. Although we were confined we celebrated it and it was fun.

Once a day I try to workout at home.  It’s very important, I want to continue living healthy. Even if in these conditions it is hard to have motivation.

I spent this week preparing an application file for an off parcoursup school. It required a lot of concentration to gather my strengths, my capacities and my ambitions for this type of learning. This school is focused on the luxury sector.  The program offers a variety of important subjects that interest me.

Finally, my father’s partner made us cotton masks. They are very useful for going out.

Have a lovely day everybody 🙂

A complicated situation

This second week of confinement was unbearable. I haven’t been out for 1 week, I feel very bad. I currently live with my father and we don’t get along anymore.

I miss my boyfriend and my friends. Normally, I go out very often with them and not seeing them is very hard to accept. I feel locked up and free to do nothing. This situation made me understand who was important to me.

The reopening of public establishments (nightclub, restaurants) will bring so many people. I think there will be overconsumption that has never existed in the world. Good point for the economy 🙂

I cut my hair by myself with kitchen scissors. The result isn’t so bad :/

To end this article, I give you my #confinementgoals :
What I prefer to do is watching Netflix, sleeping, cooking and playing with my little brother.

See you next week

The bangs look cute, Laetitia! Wish I was courageous enough to cut mine.

Corona and Laetitia’s Life

FIRST WEEK

I’m not at all used to this situation. Indeed, I lose track of time and it is difficult not to be able to go outside freely. The good news is that I spend a lot of time with my two little brothers, I cook and sleep better.

In reality, I went outside twice to go work out and I had the chance to run at the Bois de Boulogne with no one around and the landscape was beautiful.

I take care more of Augustin (my little brother who is 4 months old) since confinement. I try to make him smile !! ☺

Little Bro

Finally I taught my other little brother who is 15 years old how to make cookies. This activity allowed him to get away from his video games for a while.

Concerning the coronavirus, I listened to the interview of the infectiologist Didier Raoult who recommends a treatment based on hydroxychloroquine. His approach has been criticized but ultimately a study, on a larger scale, is currently being set up. We are waiting for the results!
